A lovely light-hearted read that also touches on issues faced by modern women and the choices they've made, for better or worse. Great book for a dreary winter's day! Looking forward to more from this author.

As always with her work a cracking good story, loved it and didn’t want it to end
Reviews for the English Rose Series
I was glued to the pages as Jenny's love life became increasingly complicated. Jenny isn't perfect, and neither are her friends and family, and that made her all the more relateable. The writing style reminded me of Adele Parks, a chick-lit favourite of mine.

... well written, engaging and has a few surprises thrown in for good measure. The relationship between the two lead characters is nothing short of complicated, but when the author dives deeper...it develops into a very complicated but romantic read.
Loved it - looking forward to the next book in the series
Ahhhh a romance for the thinking romance reader, without losing anything of what you love and expect from this genre. This well paced and evocative story is beautifully written and full of imagery. A real curl up in your armchair or go to bed early book that won't disappoint and genuinely had me guessing as to the conclusion.
Such a beautifully written book.
I liked the character development and a few of the plot twists caught me by surprise. The characters feel more 'real' because they are all shades of grey - none of them are completely blameless. Sizzles along, although as well as the romantic euphoria, there are definite (and believable) hints of sadness and regret. I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one coming out.
